Itinerary
NIGHT 1: HANOI - HA GIANG (OVERNIGHT ON BUS)
09:30 - 10:00 pm: The car will pick up guests at the designated meeting point in the Old Quarter.
11:30 pm: The sleeper bus (VIP Double Cabin) will depart from 160 Tran Quang Khai to Ha Giang via the Hanoi - Phu Tho - Tuyen Quang expressway.
DAY 1: HA GIANG - QUAN BA - YEN MINH - DONG VAN (B/L/D)
04:00 - 04:30 am: Arrive in Ha Giang. The sleeper bus will transfer guests to the Homestay for temporary rest, morning personal hygiene, and breakfast at the Homestay.
07:00 am: Our car and guide in Ha Giang will pick up guests and begin the journey to conquer the Ha Giang Karst Plateau. On the way, stop at the following points:
Lunch: Lunch at a restaurant. Continue the visit in the afternoon with:
Vuong Family Mansion (King’s Mansion): Located in a valley of Sa Phin Commune, this is the mansion of the richest and most powerful family in Đong Van at the beginning of the 20th century. Learn about the architecture, history, and culture of the Vương family (King’s family).
Lung Cu Flagpole: The northernmost point of Vietnam, the highest latitude on the Vietnamese map.
Lo Lo Chai Village of the Lo Lo people: Visit popular check-in spots at the northernmost point of the country.
06:00 pm: Return to Dong Van Town. Check-in at the hotel, rest, and have dinner. In the evening, the guide will accompany guests on a stroll to admire the nearly century-old Dong Van Old Quarter. Guests can enjoy a coffee at Café pho Co (self-paid). Overnight in Dong Van.
DAY 2: MA PI LENG - NHO QUE RIVER - HA GIANG (B/L/D)
Morning: Guests will have breakfast at the restaurant. If it is a Sunday morning, guests can visit the famous Dong Van market, known for its bustling atmosphere with vibrant colors from H'mong, Dao, and Tày ethnic minority clothing.
08:00 am: Check out of the hotel and continue the journey with:
Conquering Ma Pi Leng Pass, a 16km stretch connecting Dong Van with Meo Vac, and also the most scenic section of the "Happiness Road."
Taking photos of the majestic Tu San Canyon (also known as Ma Pi Leng Gorge or Nho Que River Gorge) at an altitude of 1500m above sea level and an average depth of 800m - the deepest cut terrain in Vietnam.
Boat cruise on the Nho Que River: Board a boat to navigate upstream on the Nho Que River to Tu San Canyon, the deepest gorge in Vietnam located on the Nho Que River. The Nho Que River flows into Vietnam from the Seo Lung village, Lung Cu commune, Dong Van district, passing through Tu San Canyon and running alongside Ma Pi Leng Pass (Note: This does not include the cost of transportation to the boat dock and the boat ride on the Nho Que River).
Lunch: Have lunch in Đong Van. After lunch, guests will continue by car back to Ha Giang.
05:00 pm: Arrive in Ha Giang, check in to the homestay (or standard hotel/guesthouse), and have dinner. The evening is free for leisure and exploring Ha Giang city at night. Overnight stay in Ha Giang city.
DAY 3: HA GIANG - SAPA - FANSIPAN (-/L/D)
06:30 am: Check out and have breakfast on your own. Afterward, wait for the car to pick you up and start the journey to Sapa.
01:00 pm: Arrive in Sapa. The vehicle and guide will pick you up from the office and take you to the hotel for lunch and check-in. Rest at the hotel.
Afternoon: The vehicle and guide will take you to the Fansipan Cable Car Station to start your journey to conquer Fansipan using the world’s most modern 3-rope cable car system, with cabins accommodating up to 30 passengers.
From the upper station, passing through the Thanh Van Đac Lo Gate, you will reach Bich Van Thien Tu, situated at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, featuring traditional Vietnamese architecture amidst the mist. At an altitude of 3,000 meters, you will see the 21.5-meter-tall Amitabha Buddha statue amidst the clouds, gazing compassionately down to the earth. In this solemn atmosphere, you can make a wish and feel the blossoming of love and hope.
From the Buddha statue, the La Han Path leads to Kim Son Bao Thang Tu, with ancient wooden Vietnamese temples from the 15th-16th centuries, where you can pay homage to Quan The Am Bo Tát and Mieu Son Than. The scenery is further enhanced by centuries-old rhododendron trees waiting for spring to bloom in shades of white, yellow, red, and pink.
Finally, after climbing 600 stone steps, you will reach the summit of Fansipan at 3,143 meters, the roof of Indochina. From here, gazing out in all directions, you will experience unique emotions and personal wishes.
06:00 pm: Dinner. The evening is free for leisure. Take photos with Sapa’s Stone Church, explore the Sapa Love Market held on Saturday nights, or simply enjoy local grilled specialties with famous San Lùng wine to warm up the cold of Sapa. Overnight in Sapa.
DAY 4: SAPA - CAT CAT VILLAGE - HANOI (B/L/-)
07:00 am: Have breakfast at the hotel and relax. Enjoy a hot coffee in the morning at the hotel restaurant.
08:00 am: The guide will pick you up and take you to visit Cat Cat Village to explore the lifestyle of the H'mong ethnic people. Visit the Tien Sa Waterfall and several other photo spots within the tourist area. Enjoy a traditional cultural performance (according to the fixed schedule at the old hydroelectric plant).
11:30 am: Return to Sapa town, check out of the hotel, and have lunch at a restaurant. Rest.
01:15 pm: The guide will take you to the vehicle for check-in and the journey back to Hanoi.
07:15 pm: Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. The vehicle will take you to the airport terminal.
08:15 pm: Arrive in Hanoi. Tour ends. See you next time!
