Night 1: Hanoi - Ha Giang City (-/-/-)
04:00 pm: The sleeper bus will pick you up from 172 Tran Quang Khai, Hanoi. The bus will depart Hanoi at night, taking you through peaceful roads toward Ha Giang.
11:00 pm: Upon arrival in Ha Giang City, you'll have a free night in a dorm room to rest for a few hours before starting your journey.
Day 1: Dong Van Karst Plateau (B/L/D)
07:00 am: The bus and guide will pick you up at your meeting point in Ha Giang City for breakfast before departing to explore the core areas of the Dong Van Karst Global Geopark. Photo stops include:
Bac Sum Pass: A beautiful 8km long mountain pass, perfect for photography.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Twin Mountain: Take in the panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and the famous "Fairy Twin Peaks".
Lonely Tree, Can Ty, Quan Ba: A unique spot for photos.
Tham Ma Pass: Also known as the "Horse Strength Test Pass", this famous steep slope is the gateway to Dong Van.
Lunch: Enjoy a local meal at Pho Cao.
Afternoon: Continue visiting:
Lung Cam Cultural Village: A scenic village featured in famous Vietnamese films.
Vuong's Mansion (Hmong King's Palace): Explore the historical residence of the Hmong royal family.
Evening: Enjoy a hotpot of black chicken at a local restaurant. Free time to explore Dong Van Ancient Town, enjoy a coffee, and stay overnight in Dong Van.
Day 2: Dong Van - Lung Cu - Ma Pi Leng - Nho Que River - Pa Vi (B/L/D)
06:30 am: Breakfast with famous local steamed rice rolls, then head off to explore:
Lung Cu Flag Tower: The northernmost point of Vietnam, overlooking the Lo Lo Chai village.
Lo Lo Chai Village: A peaceful village with traditional houses and vibrant blooms during spring.
12:00 pm: Return to Dong Van for lunch. Continue your journey:
Ma Pi Leng Pass: One of Vietnam's most famous mountain passes, located on the "Happiness Road".
Panorama Viewpoint: Take in the stunning views of the Nho Que River from a private spot (self-pay activity).
05:00 pm: Arrive at the H'mong Pa Vi Village for check-in.
