Abseiling: From the Golden Monkey Peak, you will experience the freedom and exhilaration of a king of the monkeys, taking in panoramic views of the calm waters and the rolling mountains. We will provide you with all the necessary safety equipment, including harnesses and helmets, and share detailed skills and knowledge before you start the experience.

Kayaking on Hang Vem Lake: A place where you can see schools of fish lazily sunbathing under the clear water, clusters of plump oysters clinging to the mountain slopes, or crabs hidden in seaweed clusters... All create a vibrant marine life.

Cave Exploration: The limestone terrain, shaped over many years, has formed secret caves hidden within the rugged mountains.

Swimming: In a private lake area, you will enjoy immersing yourself in the crystal-clear, cool water, recharging after a day of exploration through the forest and the sea.

What to Bring:

• Swimsuit and change of clothes (preferably light, breathable long-sleeve shirt, lightweight and quick-dry pants)

• Backpack (if available, or regularly used, choose one with load-bearing straps)

• Trekking shoes (choose ones with good grip, well-fitted, avoid fashion types)

• Sunscreen, personal medication

• Only necessary accessories to avoid overloading the backpack with unused items

Itinerary

9:30 AM: Gather at the Daiichi office in Cat Ba for a briefing on the itinerary and safety rules.

10:00 AM: Follow paths along freshwater lake farms, trace the trails of "forest workers," cross steep rocky slopes, and take on the role of a geologist or botanist to explore the diverse ecosystems of Cat Ba.

11:00 AM: Golden Monkey Peak
This is the highest peak in the West Hang Vem area. When you "reach the top," you will be treated to a breathtaking view of the shimmering blue lake, like a sparkling gem surrounded by towering mountains and white clouds. The rugged terrain of dense forests and jagged limestone is one of the highlights of the journey to conquer Golden Monkey Peak.

11:30 AM: First Abseiling: Descend from Golden Monkey Peak to the lunch break point. This is a challenge against yourself. You will descend by rope from the peak down the cliff, dangling at a height of 60m. Your eyes will take in the full beauty of the land, sky, and sea.

12:30 PM: Recharge after a challenging half-day. In a peaceful and fresh dining space, listen to the harmonious sounds of the forest and sea as your body rests and gains strength for the next adventures.

1:30 PM: Second Abseiling: Descend from the lunch break point to the floating raft. Continue your journey along the cliff, approaching the water's surface to begin the next exploration.

2:30 PM: Kayak Exploration:
- Adventure on the surface of Hang Vem Lake: You will embark on a journey to admire the magnificent natural wonders, a miraculous result of the erosion from rain and storms, and the weathering of sun and wind. Especially, you'll have the opportunity to observe the rich flora and fauna that change with the tides beneath the water.

- Together, explore the caves hidden in the cliffs and observe the rich geology that will help you better understand Cat Ba. These are particularly the creations of nature, formed over many years.
- And don't forget to capture memorable moments with your fellow travelers, turning strangers into friends.

5:30 PM: Get ready to board the car and return to your accommodation. Don’t forget to return the equipment before heading back.
