On September 17, tourist Tố Uyên from Hanoi arrived on Cat Ba Island by private car and noted that the weather was quite pleasant with gentle sunshine: "About 50% of the shops have reopened, and there are more options in the central area. I noticed that most of the visitors right now are international tourists, with fewer domestic guests. Some places still look a bit rundown with fallen trees, but overall, I find Cat Ba to be peaceful and pleasant at this time. The Đong Bai ferry is operational and free, ensuring smooth transportation with no obstacles."
Local tourism authorities have also committed to ensuring safety, security, and environmental hygiene measures, creating the best conditions for visitors to fully enjoy the beauty of Cát Bà after the typhoon. Additionally, many promotional programs and discounts on tourism services have been implemented to attract tourists back to the island.
Thus, Cat Ba - the gem of northern Vietnam - is ready to reopen, offering visitors not only stunning natural landscapes but also safe and comfortable relaxation experiences. Be sure to plan your upcoming trip to experience the marvelous beauty of Cát Bà after the storm has passed.
