Detail Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Pu Luong - Don Village - Uoi Village - Lan Ngoai Brocade Village - Hieu Waterfall

06:40 - 7:00 am: The company's vehicle and tour guide pick you up at the hotel in the Old Quarter or office in Hanoi for the 170km (4 hours) journey to Pu Luong. There will be a 15-minute stop in Hoa Binh.

11:30 am: Arrive in Pu Luong, have lunch, and check in to rest.

01:30 pm: Depart for Don Village by motorbike or car to explore the life of the Thai ethnic people, enjoy the fresh air, and see the beautiful mountains, forests, and terraced fields. Then, trek down to Uoi Village and continue to Lan Ngoai Brocade Village to learn about traditional Thai craft villages.

03:00 pm: The vehicle picks us up at Lan Ngoai Village to visit Hieu Waterfall. Trek 800m from the waterfall gate to immerse yourself in nature, with three levels of waterfall for bathing and enjoying the cool, relaxing atmosphere.

05:00 pm: Return to the homestay to rest.

07:00 pm: Have dinner, exchange culture and art, dance with Thai girls (if there is a large group at the homestay, an event will be organized), or relax.

Day 2: Trekking Pu Luong Peak 

06:00 am: Wake up early to prepare for the journey to conquer Pu Luong peak.

07:00 am: Have breakfast at the homestay.

07:30 am: Prepare personal belongings with the tour guide and porter, and head to the starting point of the trek. Walk along the trail through two small streams, explore the old fokieni forest in Pu Luong Nature Reserve with diverse ecological animals, and hear the birds chirping.

12:00 pm: Reach the 1,700m peak. Take photos with the three-winged angel maple tree and the Pu Luong peak landmark. Enjoy the view of peaceful clouds, Quan Hoa Town, and Na Meo in Laos. Porter and team collect firewood, build a fire, and prepare lunch with chicken, grilled pork belly, and sticky rice or bamboo-tube rice.

01:30 pm: Clean up and continue the trek through the bamboo forest (about 3 hours). On the way, collect wild vegetables and sour leaves for bamboo duck soup dinner.

04:30 pm: Arrive at a cave near the stream to camp. Collect firewood for a campfire dinner in the mountains and forests.

07:30 pm: After cleaning up, gather for team-building activities (chilling music, werewolf).

09:30 pm: Rest after a long day of trekking to prepare for the next day's challenge.

Day 3: From the top down to the Grass Hill

05:00 am: Wake up early to prepare breakfast with the porter, light a fire to make coffee with a bamboo tube, and cook breakfast.

06:30 am: Disassemble camp, pack belongings, and clean up to continue the walk to the quadrilateral rock and through the bamboo forest down the hill to the large grassy area. Admire Pu Luong Village and take photos with the flycam.

11:00 - 11:30 am: Complete the descent and return to Pu Luong for lunch with local specialties.

02:30 pm: Depart Pu Luong by bus back to Hanoi.

07:00 pm: Arrive in Hanoi, ending the 3-day, 2-night exploration of the nature reserve. The vehicle drops you off at the hotel in the center of Hanoi's Old Quarter. The tour guide says goodbye. Thank you and see you again.
