Cuc Phuong National Park is Vietnam's first national park, known for its diverse ecosystem of flora and fauna. The park also boasts breathtaking natural landscapes such as Silver Cloud Peak and the thousand-year-old Cho tree. When you visit Cuc Phuong, you'll feel like an explorer discovering a diverse system of wildlife. The park is home to over 659 species of animals, including nearly 336 bird species, 122 species of reptiles and amphibians, 135 mammal species, and 66 fish species. Many of these are listed in the Red Book and are under conservation, with the rare white-bellied black langur being a notable highlight.

When you visit Cuc Phuong in April or May, you'll witness flocks of butterflies filling the sky, creating a remarkably peaceful and picturesque scene.

Itinerary

06:00 AM: Daiichi's guide and limousine will pick you up at 96 Nguyen Huu Huan or in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Depart for Ninh Binh, where the guide will share fascinating stories about the landmarks and cultural heritage of Cuc Phuong along the way. There will be a stop in Ha Nam for a break, breakfast, and relaxation (self-pay).

09:30 AM: Arrive at Cuc Phuong and enjoy the following must-do activities:

• Photographing Butterflies: At the entrance of Cuc Phuong National Park (from April to May), witness the sky filled with butterflies creating a breathtaking scene.

• Rare Animal Museum: Explore rare animal species and the primate rescue center.
• Cuc Phuong Botanic Garden: An ideal spot to learn about the rare plant species preserved and cultivated in the park.
• Exploring the Ancient People’s Cave: Travel deeper into the primary forest to view prehistoric archaeological sites.
• Trekking to the Thousand-Year-Old Cho Tree: Discover the majestic ancient tree and experience the grandeur of nature.

12:30 PM: After a morning of exploration, enjoy a picnic lunch in the refreshing natural surroundings. The remaining time is for resting, photography, and relaxation.

01:30 PM: Continue trekking to explore more interesting spots in Cuc Phuong before preparing for the return trip to Hanoi.

03:30 PM: Depart for Hanoi. On the way back, there will be a stop at a specialty shop where you can choose gifts for friends and family.

06:00 PM: Arrive back in Hanoi, concluding a day of memorable and exciting exploration.
